Mechanical Requirements
System and disc formats:-PC/CD-ROM - PC or Mac
EMAIL:-Copy should be sent to ads@publishingeast.co.uk or ads@eastmag.com It is recommended that attachments are compressed using compression software called ‘Stuffit’ or ‘Winzip’.This reduces the file size.
Hard copy and artwork:- For adverts being made up, please ensure all artwork (logo’s & images) are supplied in the highest available quality, whether in digital format or hard copy for scanning.
File formats:- TIFF (with clipping paths if ‘cutouts’ are needed), JPG, PDF (fonts must be embedded), EPS (fonts must be outlined or converted to paths). All text copy for inclusion in the advert is provided in clear print, or preferably in digital format such as Quark Express or Word format files. Any specific requirements are given, i.e. colour/layout Preferences. Please consider the orientation of advert space purchased in relation to artwork and images provided.
TIFF files - supply as CMYK, PC format, without LZW compression, origination preferably 300dpi.
